In the wake of such am emphatic victory by Queensland last night a few questions were answered in regards to the depth of the Queensland halves.
With JT now a part of Origin folklore, Cameron Munster announced that barring injury he could be the Queensland #6 for the next decade. In what could be described as one of the best origin debut's ever, Munster looked like a veteran of many many series wearing a maroon jersey.
Not to mention that regular Cowboys 5/8, Michael Morgan, looked very good in the centres and i am sure would not look out of place wearing the 6 if so called upon.
What does this mean for Corey Norman???
I my humble opinion he has been solid without being brilliant since return from injury and pairing with Mitchell Moses. If anything Moses has probably outplayed him most weeks when the two have shared the halves duty for the mighty eels.
Will last nights game inspire Norman to through down the challenge to the abundance of Queensland halves? For the sake of the eels i hope that he does. Or will he now move his focus to 100% club footy and realise that origin may be a bridge to far???
Either way i hope that he just gets out there and along with Moses forms one of the most lethal combinations in the NRL

Ever since he was caught 'partying' he has gone down hill. He is the eels version of Tiger Woods. When he was living his old life he was in line for a Dally M, now...
There is another generation overtaking him and the fact that guys his Jnr are getting the runs is not because of his 2017 leg injury .
When Slater retires Munster will go to FB... Jacks n Croft will be Storm's halves and Croft and Milf will be QLDs halves.... Either way Norman will be overlooked and while he's at Parra why would u want him to play SOO anyway
Would need injuries to Those ahead of him to get a chance
Also DCE will get back in the Origin team when the big 3 are gone
isn't he eligible for the Kiwis as well?
Corey is a shadow of his former playing self, hes had a poor year by his own standards or anybodies standards, hes the opposite of what QLD is all about.
He hasnt run the ball or interjected himself into the game this year.
Corey doesnt have the smarts or the ticka to be playing rep footy, you cant be a passenger in origin and thats all he'd be.
Not to mention Coreys so unfit he wouldnt handle the pace of origin.
