Norman or Moses?

Who do you think has greater potential/ability?

Moses played better of the two once he came to Parra, but I still think Norman has greater ability. Norman's running game is stronger and he is such a natural ballplayer and kicker when confident.

Who do you think?

  • Norman still struggles to make good decisions under pressure, and it's likely to be his downfall in the long-run.  As you say, he's decent 'when confident', but it's the times that things are tough that you need your halves to step up.

Moses is cocky and the shit he tries seems to come off.  If he can keep this up and show it's not just luck and cocksurety, and continue to develop and mature, I think he can surpass Norman by a long way.

At 27, Norman should be hitting his prime, but he still seems like a big kid, and a long way from being a steady leader.

    • Agree thus, moses will lead the pair this year.
    • Nailed it Tom. This is why I’m surprised he is touted as a SOO chance.

Corey needs to find someone that can help him get rid of the ‘deer’ in his head and he’d be fine. For such an experienced player he still gets to many momentary lapses of deer in the headlights when it matters.

One of Corey’s most memorable games for us was his last one in 16 before he did his time off...not sure what that means or if it’s mind related?

When the chips are down it’s really hard to count on Corey...hope he can just focus on consistency and getting his mind right. Like you said Moses has surpassed him here in the ‘consistency dept’ in his  first half year.

  • I think Moses

  • I'd sign Moses before Norman right now. Norms had a terrific 2016 bUT you could build a team around Moses's organization.
    Moses has more upside
  • I think they are at the same level right now but moses is younger so based on that id go with him normz has taken a long time to hit his stride and be consistent
  • Moses has more upside. There have been plenty of players with loads of skill ability who just never make it due to attitude. Moses seems have much better attitude towards footy over Norman.
Norman has failed to improve each year and although he can have a great game every now and then has failed string consistent form together. He still has time turn it around but not many players his age suddenly find then work ethic required to go next level. The club need help him get a wife and kid which may help him settle down with his partying ways and make him more reliable and consistent.

Meanwhile Moses has shown plenty of improvement over past 2 years, especially last year under Arthur when he was enjoying his footy at Parra. Remember he didn't have pre-season with parra and was thrown in side mid year when we were an average team.
He took us to top 4 spot and I only expect him get better this year.
  • Moses every day of the week, Coreys got too much mental luggage and he's regressing the last few years.

Corey was nothing more than a passenger many games last year, hes more interested in making vimeo videos and acting like a clown to be really interested in footy.

  • Different players. I’m expecting a big year from Norman. He finally has a player capable of controlling a game in the 7 jersey alongside him and he is now free to play the sort of game that suits him the most, that is ad lib attack mixed with elements of control when required. Things have probably conspired against Norman at Parra with injuries and loss of teammates etc. I think he’ll have his best year ever in 2018.
  • It's obviously Norman.... Doesnt anyone remember that they said he's going to be the next Lockyer?!?!?!!! Just be patient!!
