  • Norman is a confidence player. When he is on he is on and when he is off, he is way off. At this level you can never be off. And with the position he plays mediocre isn't even an option. He is not our saviour.
    • Your last sentence is the Parramatta problem right there.

No player, coach or administrator can ever be our saviour. No player, coach or administrator will ever be perfect, or even come close to it.

I swear even if we had Nick Politis as Chairman, Phil Gould as GM, Craig Bellamy as coach and a team that included Cam Smith, JT, Cooper Cronk & Billy Slater we as a fan base would still find something to bitch about.

If anyone wants to talk about our DNA as a club, there it is right there.

    • Parra are a confidence team.
    • Hey Brett Allen, I wasn't bitching about anyone. Just stating a fact. Maybe our problem is fans like you who try desperately to find things to bitch about?
  • The scary thing was that Snake & Bricktop actually agreed on something.

    Bizarro world.

    • It took him a few years to realise what i called before we bought him, but better late than never.

He was one of the dopes bagging me in my blog saying Norman was useless when we signed him, 5 years later horo movies finally caught up with the pace.

Hes usually 5 years slow on most things, this is no exception.

      • Well I must be slower still because I still think he's got plenty to offer.

That said I'm willing to concede it might not be with us.

  • Hes not consistant enough nudge, he struggles playing with other halves who want to share control, hes a bad influence and has heaps of luggage, sorry nudge hes had a good go, hes never going to take us to the next level and we are one bad decision on his behalf of letting the club down again.

He needs to be moved on now.

  • Why do you call people who disagree with what you think as ‘Dopes’ Nudger? Isn’t everyone entitled to their opinion or is only what you think, suggest or say correct? I also don’t see the value in keeping Corey Norman as he’s been here long enough and produced nothing in reality to what he was supposedly labelled as. He’s continued to bring ‘off field’ dramas into the headlines and been given numerous opportunities but failed to take advantage of them. I’d rather have Blake Austin or even give Salmon a go into the top grade at his expense as the Eels certainly won’t make the playoffs in 2018 so it’s time for Arthur to give others a go. Norman clocks off and goes walkabout too much and IF you think Norman got a 7/10 on last nights performance then you must have watched another game. At best I would have given him 3/10.

  • That performance only served to reiterate to me where Norman's game is at. He is definitely a better seven than he is six, but he needs to play with a really dangerous, attacking-six. When he starts trying too hard, he makes mistakes, and I thought that was what he was doing last night. He just needs to focus on playing solid, and try and hook up with a six who can pull all the trick-shots. I think with the right partner, he'll go well, but I don't think that partner exists at Parramatta.

"Hypothetical question. Say Lomax doesn't go to R360 would we have him back or is he gone forever despite his release saying can't go to league for 4 years "
