None of our players should play origin.

All our guys should rule themself out of origin and focus primarily on club footy. Trying to turn the season around while others clubs get hit by origin works for me.

  • Excuse me, who do you imagine will get picked?

Even then, that is a player's choice, some have income involved on their contracts to play Origin. Someone like Hopgood, it is a career ambition....... this is another statement by a non-thinking Parramatta supporter. have you ever thought it may be an incentive to play Origin!

God knows how you blokes think?

    • Yeah good point Poppa. Queensland have a few injuries in their pack with Fa'asuamaleaui and Flegler out of game I, might pave the way for Hopgood to be selected. On top of that, Hopgood might not get an opportunity again to get picked in Origin, so would he give that up? He shouldn't.

      • Absolutely Hopgood should play Origin if he's selected. It would be nuts to turn it down. It can only be good for him, his development, career & income. Eventually all that will probably be good for us too. One for all, all for one.

        • Hopgood we can prob live with being selected, Matto steps in. If Paulo RCG go as well that's a problem lol

    • Paulo, RCG and Hopgood are prob the 3 players I'd be most worried about. Not sure how NSW selectors think but they love Paulo lol. Guys should stay at club level and try build some consistent performances

      • Paulo was dropped last year and has never had a good origin game only chance for NSW is Reg

  • None will be picked. They're all sub-par.

  • I may be wrong but we are in a worse position than we were after 8 rounds last season we didn't recover from that so most likely won't recover this year so none of our players being picked for origin won't make any difference

    • Need to start building some good habits and can't happen if Paulo RCG Hopgood have to go to camp and last year gutho as 19 man 🤣. Need to stick to club footy

  • Playing Origin would do them the world of good, and would expose them to playing with quality players. The only Parra players I can see who may get selected are Moses (if he is fit - looking dicey for Origin1) and probably Paulo. Maybe Hopgood, but personally I don't think he is quite where he needs to be at the moment. Not sure about RCG - Fittler clearly didn't like him, but it's a new team now.
