I still don't get why we have Kaufusi and Makatoa on the bench who offer absolutely nothing, while we we have a couple of big boppers in Ogden and Greig wasting away in reserves.
They would offer so much more go forward when RCG and Paulo come off. I don't get how BA doesn't see that.
His use of the bench is baffling. It's crap like his bench choices and rotation that make me think he really doesn't have a clue what he's doing.
I remember the 2020 game against the Titans when we won 46 - 6. Brown played lock, RCG and Paulo props and Lane and Matto in the second row.
On the bench we had Kane Evans - who in 2020 finally found his groove and played some really good games for us - Peni Terepo, Marata and Taka.
When RCG and Paulo went off, Evans and Terepo came on and we kept that momentum going.
As it stands, we're short two quality props. I'd be promoting Ogden to the 30 this week and putting him on the bench - with Nathan Brown - to be our prop rotation for RCG and Paulo. Marata adds punch and then you can pick who you like at 17. Personally, I'd have Cartright.
Do you think Ogden could be a surprise addition to the bench Brissy? Greig got sent off last week so he will be out for this week at least, so Makatoa for Ogden or Rodwell could be on the cards.
"Exactly, ricky if a half-back killer, he has never developed a young half in his career. Cody Black will soon join the list of failed half-backs under ricky."

Some good points in there...
Good article. 9 years and BA still can't get the bench right.
Excellent opinon piece.

Should have kept big Stefano. Another promising one that got away
Tigers offered 300K pa for 3 years. We didn't have the cap space bar a development contract.
He has barely played due to injury this season. Hardly solves our problem at the moment.
I'm really disappointed in the lack of development in Oregon Kaufusi.
