  Teams have been running with 80 minute hookers for years now. The only ones who use two of them are the ones whose best hooker can't play a full game effectively.

  A second hooker is needed at the club, not necessarily on the bench. If your first choice is injured long term, I'd hate to go into the premiership with a stop gap.

    Id love us to find another Pj Marsh style hooker. Would help immensely during injury ravaged periods such as this season. Kaysa has that potential, but the poor bloke has spent more time injured than not.

    For sure sixties. Just like at every other position you need a backup at hooker. You just don't (necessarily) need an interchange hooker.

  I love seeing two hookers in a team but one of those players needs to be versatile enough to cover at the very least the lock and second row positions. If the halves may be covered to that's a bonus, PJ Marsh and Riddell were a great example of this. Piggy would often jump in the second row.
