I won't mention who missed some of the crucial ones- will get my head bitten off.
Yes we had a lot of our 1st choice players out injured but remember the Roosters bench last night. No Hargreaves, Jennings, SKD or Pearce yet they still showed a lot of quality against the Silvertails. I guess it highlights the difference in the recruiting prowess between the clubs.
My comment is not meant as a slight on the boys efforts. They tried hard & made a 4th placed team really work hard for their victory but if u r fair dinkum, there is a big difference in the quality of the depth in the player roster which basically goes back to assessing & recruiting talent.
I think it helps too when you have an unlimited salary cap as the Roosters seem to have.
