  • He should just go to union. Basically a guarantee he'll play for the wallabies lol.
    • Apparently he cant because he played for Fiji in sevens

    • Yep not eligible
  • That's what you get when you go to a crap team.
  • Hayne should retire, come to parra and coach us to glory days.
Sunshine will beam down on us winning premiership after premiership.
  • Dean Ritchie on NRL 360 reckons that Hayne would find his old form if he returned to the Eels - I'm kind of inclined to agree with him.

He made some great points and reminded everyone how when Hayne was paraded to the media as the Titans big signature all he wanted to talk about was the Eels. You could tell from day dot that Jarryd wasn't keen on the move.

I think his heart lies with Parra and that's why he isn't having a dig for the Titans at the moment. You just don't lose talent like he seems to have overnight. There's got to be more to it IMO.

I feel he may have been coerced into signing with them by the NRL (you can tell the coach didn't want him, and who runs the Tits again, that's right NRL) - who knows maybe they told him he would be investigated for off the book payments etc.

With everything that was going down re the salary cap at the Eels, Parra was the last place the NRL would allow him to return and they made sure that both the Eels and Jarryd understood. We may never find out the truth but I think there is a lot that we the fans know.

Don't get me wrong, I think the bloke is a big princess, he's very much up himself and difficult to manage but we cant deny he has talent by the truckload. I think if he is willing to take some kind of hit to his pay then we could do with him in the side somewhere - wing or centre would be my feeling.

  • What interested me on 360 is the assertion that when he was playing NFL he wasn't as fit as he could have been. I agree, he's overweight now. If he were to lose about 10 -15 kgs I think he could get back to his 2009 form... But.. He won't train so..
  • I read a valid point about the princess today. The  author suggested that Hayne is not tanking, but his body is no longer able to respond as it once did.Very true.As you get older you want and think you can perform as you did a decade ago,but your body is like a car with over 300 000 km on it.It may still run,but don't expect too much.A lot of us hope that Hayne will regain some form, but he is a lazy prick who has got by on innate ability, not hard training like Cronk,Slater,Johns and Thurston .It is a bit late for Hayne to develop a work ethic.

  • What was clear to me is that Kent has an agenda against Hayne and will argue with anyone and everyone for the sake of arguing and constantly giving it to Hayne. I wonder if maybe Jarryd didn't sign an autograph for Kent back in 09. Even when other players make a statement saying Jarryd trains well and gets along well with team mates and the coaches he will continue arguing or change it to something else. He is actually making buzz, Webster and bulldog Ritchie look like stars and they are constantly making him look like a fool on nrl 360l
  • Currently o/seas fellas and find this titans talk v interesting. They're in trouble and hope they don't turn up against us this week. To me Hayne has never been a good trainer / and maybe never a good team player. I don't want him back and nor do i think BA would unless he was here for a season, and went by this. I also heard Hindmarsh said things about him, and i imagine some goes back to the D Anderson era, and the like. Hayne could have been a great; but it seems work ethic is not his main aim. Surely we can recall games when he didn't put in? And yes 09 was great and 2014, but that was a fair way in between imo and he is not playing anything like the money the titans paid for him.
