  • Just about to post this, here's some more details:

    PDRL Annual General Meeting
The Parramatta District Rugby League Club would like to advise that four of the nominated candidates for the Parramatta District Rugby League Club Board election have withdrawn their nominations.

Therefore tonight's election has been cancelled. The Annual General Meeting will still go ahead as scheduled.

The following candidates will be declared elected to the Board of the Parramatta District Rugby League Club at the Annual General Meeting tonight.
    Eric Grothe (Snr)
    Sid Kelly
    John Kolc
    Ray Price
    Robert Sassen
    Stephen Sharp
    Roy Spagnolo
  • Wow, even if wannabe directors are walking out!
  • So they are in? No elections? Sharp officially on the board?? Niceeeee.. Good on ya Sharpie!

  • To me, it shows what a joke our current structure is that the football board is so powerless that nobody considers it's worth bothering to run for. Blog coming on that issue.

  • Dont speak too soon muttman, everyone knows its the Leagues club elections which really count. Johnson and Gerard had to pull out because of their election on the NSWRL board. A good move for Parramatta in my opinion to have their representation. Given the letters members have recieved from Price and Kolc there could be some fireworks in the boardroom!!

  • lol @ kulc going for the leagues club. would you vote for him?

  • Why didn't Terry Leabeater run for the board?

  • my question is this what is kolcs and sharps agenda ??? sharp has been nowhere near the joint since he retired. and why didnt leabeter run ? what about grahame murray  ?? does anyone know why nathan cayless pulled out ??? bring back john quayle i say .

  • You should ask leabeater why he didnt run - its probably the same reason he isnt a member
