No Attack, No Defence and No Finals for Next Year

Like many other people I am disappointed with our recruitment for next year. Two old players and one good one just won't cut it. Retaining Hoppa certainly won't cut it. We need a good big prop, a good centre, a good winger and a good fullback and we have not recruited anyone of any decent calibre in any of those positions. Unless some of our juniors come to the party, and more importantly unless BA actually trusts them, I expect much the same performance next year with our roster.

Now will Foran be better than Sandow in attack? Only next year will tell but I doubt it.

Now will Scott stiffen up our defence? I doubt it.

Now will the team have enough quality in it to make the finals? I doubt it.

Now will BA start getting some consistency in our performances? He hasn't as yet so I doubt it.

What I don't doubt is that BA will start to be judged harshly next year as he now has the players he wanted.

SPOT ON, pressure for BA to deliver some goods next year. We need speed and we definitely dont have it. Gordon, scott and POSSIBLY foran may not deliver next year.

Spot on we desperately need a top line fullback. Not a guy looking to have one more year in first grade. Also falou has talent but needs lots of help with positional play and defencive problems. Isn't that what BA is payed to do.?? We have the talent we just need someone to get them to maximise it.

FK me, what exactly do you people want? An iron clad guarantee?

Players for next year are done and dusted, so is the coach. So if you don't like it, what are you all going to, whinge for another 12months? It's not changing people, either get on the bus or get off.

I can just imagine how some here will react if in fact we are successful next year. ALL ABOARD!!!

  I would react with great joy TBUR just like everyone else here. I would happily walk around with egg on my face if I am wrong. However I am being honest with my assessment of the roster, it is poor with only a few decent players. We are not blessed with speed in the backs and the forwards are very inconsistent and play for 60 mins.

Spot on boys ba is not the man to deliver that premiship he may be a good bloke but is just a rookie coach just look at what Bennet has done with broncos if he wasn't there they would not be in the position they are now we need experience da would do a better job he just hasn't got that edge we need a club in crisis I think
