I closed my account late last year due to it being too distracting but I'm back now and I'm running a nine's tipping comp again, info below.
Looking for a bit of pre season fun? Fancy yourself as a tipster? Think you can beat the 2014 Nines Tipping Comp Champ Danny Klein?
Last year my brother and I ran a tipping comp for the Nines tournament that we put together a day or so before it started and we got 33 people, we're running it again this year and want 100+ people in it, there's no money involved, no prizes, just bragging rights and a bit of pre season fun which I know is something we all could do with.
Last year we had a live ladder you could stay up to date with and bonus points for tipping the winner of the comp, we'll be doing the same this year too.
If you're interested you can send an email to ninestippingcomp2015@gmail.com and we'll send you an email directly to you a couple of days before the Nines start with the tipping form to fill out online otherwise comment here if your keen and I'll update this blog to let you know when and how you can enter your tips.

Edit: A Facebook page has been created for anyone to join, if you join the Facebook page you wont need to send us an email as we will be posting the tipping form and all updates to that page.

Just over 2 weeks until the Nines kick off, here's this years tipping options and what they're worth:
Pool rounds x 24 games = 2 points per correct selection
Women's games x 3 games = 2 points per correct selection
1st place winners for each pool x 4 pools = 5 points per correct selection
Team that scores the most amount of tries during the pool rounds including bonus point tries = 5 points for correct selection
Grand final winner = 10 points
Runner up = 5 points
A few new options compared to last year, the tipping form will be available for you to make your selections on Thursday 29th of January
Next Thursday the tipping form will be posted on the Facebook page, I'll also put a link up here too, If we get to 200 people on the Facebook page before then I'll put the form up early but at the moment we're nearly at 100, join if you want and make sure you've invited your mates who think they're hot shit tippers so you can smash them, invite the sucky ones too why not
