The media is certain that Will Hopoate will be selected in SOO2 on the wing! I thank that is wrong. He has not played on the wing this year and is unfamiliar with the role of winger. He is not fast enough for winger. I don`t think he is ready yet for SOO at wing or centre. Its a big mistake selecting him in SOO. I am not flushed with excitement about Dugan either. He has got mistakes in him in attack and defence. How are they going to keep him off the grog etc for over a week? I think Uate or the Penrith winger should be selected. Need a centre--go for Scott if Inglis plays and be in his face all evening.

Inglis won't be playing, so the whole "who can contain Inglis" issue is no longer valid.
I agree, Hopoate hasn't been good enough to be selected for Origin. Mansour, Taufua and Richards are all better options on the wing. For centre, we're struggling, so I don't mind Dugan.
Brett I am not concerned about SOO but am concerned about the Eels. I want Hoppa at Parra this weekend with Hayne missing against the Dogs But I don`t think Hoppa is ready yet for SOO. Beau Scott, I agree with you but he has the Queen slanders looking over their shoulders with his "hard man tactics". I want him there to plug up that right centre hole where Thurston ,Inglis and Boyed operate. For defence that is. In attack JH and the winger will do the job with help from the 5/8.
