I look at that list of coaches and in the main only see one type of coach. There all smart operators. With good game plans, good season management and with great man management all be it different approaches to that.
Ricky is a bit of an anonymaly.
My biggest concern with BA is whether he has the smarts to ever win a premiership. He's absolutely a solid coach, but looking at that list who would you say he has covered in game tactics and season management.
I think he has the smarts, i think mentally himself and the team can't quite get there. Brian Smith surely had the smarts to win a title, 4 GFs showed that, just could not get the preparation and head space right to sustain a result. 2010 GF being up 8-6 at half-time showed that, went to far into tactics, too much info and they conceaded 26 unanswered points.
Yeh not convinced LB.. for mine he's all about effort and following the game plan like it's a religion without adapting to what's happening in the game and what's working. His game plans don't exploit the weaknesses of other teams.
If it worked at Penrith ( twice ) let's bring son Jake into the team asap so BA can get us a title LOL
i dunno man. Any anyalst of a team sport that doesn't take into account the team is not really that informative.
coaches have a big impact for sure but players have just as much if not more of an impact. Sure the Storm & East have done well lately, partly to do with coaching and partly to do with having the best rosters in the comp.
I think BA has probably over performed with the roster up to this year. I think so far this year BA has underperformed, not by much. I reckon we have a top four roster.
LB, bro i notice teachers are going on their weekly strike again, you guys should just pick a day of the week and take it off every week lol, just do a 4 day week every week and make it official.
or take two weeks leave every 10 - 12 weeks. Oh hang on a minute.
Some one say 6 weeks at xmas, as well.
