Next year

I believe that parra has recruited perfectly this year and Hasson just about on his way and if we sign Cornish we won't have to recruit anymore. This is my team for parra and wenty next year.1. Michael Gordon2. Semi Radradra3. Brad Takairangi4. Will Hopoate5. Reece Robinson6. Corey Norman7. Kieran Foran8. Junior Paulo9. Nathan Peats10. Tim Mannah11. Manu Ma'u12. Beau Scott13. Anthony Watmough-------------------14. Danny Wicks15. Peni Terepo16. Kenny Edwards17. Pauli Pauli1. Bevan French2. Bureta Faraimo3. Nathan Davis4. John Folau5. Vai Toutai6. Ryan Matterson7. Mitch Cornish8. James Hasson9. Issac De Gois10. Daniel Alvaro11. Cody Nelson12. Tepai Moeroa13. Josh Aloai----------------14. Kaysa Pritchard15. Taniela Lasalo16. Alex Twal17. Fabian Goodall2016 signings: Kieran Foran, Beau Scott, Michael Gordon, Mitch Cornish & James Hasson.2016 loses: Chris Sandow, Ryan Morgan, Joseph Paulo, Luke Kelly, Richie Fa'oso, Beau Champion, Darcy Lussick, Joseph Ualesi and Tui Kamikamica.Resign: Will Hopoate( 2 yrs ), Reece Robinson( 1yrs ), Peni Terepo( 2yrs ), Pauli Pauli( 3yrs ), Daniel Alvaro( 2yrs ) & Kaysa Pritchard( 1yrs ).With both of those teams not only will parra be a force, wenty will be a force as well. Bevan French, Nathan Davis, Josh Aloai & Alex Twal shall graduate from the Holden cup and play in the NSW cup obviously injuries will come but we have handy back ups in every position.

  • Kamikamica is the next gun forward and there's no chance Pauli and Terepo are in front of Teapai.

Never enough team list blogs although it would be good if they were wrapped up into a single blog ala the Silvertails site.
    • Agree with Chief, Moeroa is one of our better forwards

    • Really?? He was very average in attack on Monday night, still has a lot of work to do
  • Dave Gower?

    • Is really overrated
  • Great well thought out blog mate, but one thing I disagree with is having Tepai play reserve grade while Terepo is on the bench. I get that Tepai is generally a second rower, and Terepo is a prop, and we need a good prop rotation happening, which is why I believe either Pauli Pauli or Tepai will make a move to prop.

Terepo is great depth, but hardly a player you'd want to rely on coming off the bench. He makes too many mistakes with loose carries, runs straight and hard (which at times is great, but a step at the line or something would do wonders to his game) and doesn't provide that extra bit of grunt that we need from a bench forward.

I think this is where Tepai is struggling this year. Last year we saw the best of him when he would come from the bench when the opposition forwards were tired and he'd hit the hole and run through them. This year we've seen him start pretty much every game he's played and he hasn't quite had the impact he had last year, I'm sure this is contributed to by his bung shoulder, but IMO its cause of he's starting against fresh players who are aiming up against him.

Imagine a fresh Tepai and Pauli coming in against tired forwards, similar to what Klemmer provides for the Dogs.. They're going to be ranked along with the best impact players in the comp.

  • Sorry mate I forgot, gowie would go into the starting side for Edwards, edwards would go into the wenty side replacing Tepai. Tepai can go into the bench for Terepo, maybe Twal can stay in the Holden cup putting Alvaro on the bench for wenty all is resolved.
  • I agree with Parra fan what about Gower ILL drop Terepo for Gower now that's a great side

  • Moeroa, Gower, Wicks and Edwards from the bench IMO. Terepo/Pauli have too many errors in them. Not sure we will have Cornish though. Other than that agree with it
