Next Month & BA

I'm of the opinion that BA has been here too long and nothing good is going to come of prolonging his stay here ...BUT

having said that I think the next month is a good chance for the club to weigh up whether he should be here next year . If Jake continues to show he isn't anywhere near ready to play NRL football than choosing to go into a season with him as next cab off the rank for both the 6 and 7 jerseys is an absolute failure of his coaching and roster management.

Jake is also not even close to a like for like replacement for either half so I think it has to change the way we play . We can't go into a game with a set for set attitude with Jakes shitty slow kicks into the corners. Mitch has one of the best long kicks in the NRL. I think we'll have to generate a lot more attack through our middles . Matto and Junior linking with Mahoney... a lot for touches for Gutho and D Brown with Jake just doing a job. I have no doubt BA will try and play how we usually do and give Jake the keys to the attack and we are going to look bloody ordinary again as a result .

The club really needs to watch what happens here and act on it . If we hold our ground and get a few wins than whatever plan he's had here has worked . I don't see it though personally .

  • I personally have seen enough of BAs antics to know nothing good can come from having him here, years ago, let alone next year.

I dont even need to see what happens the nest 4 weeks, weve had a long time to see the fruit of BAs efforts, he needed to be gone yesterday, along with any connections to him including his son.

    • X a billion

  • Jake!

    Come on down

  • I feel that if we have a poor finish, the club will keep him as Moses being out is an excuse.

    • Agree LB, I also said this in some other blog. If we fail with JA in, club says MM was out. If by some miracle JA guides us to multiple wims and a top 4 spot, the club says, "see, BA is a genius coach" Both cases he stays and I take more interest in the AFL and UFC

      • If he takes away my happy place he gets a " shit in a box deluxe " lol
