Ive had enough of the political threads, so I thought I'd ask a footy question.
From those in the know;
Who will be our next homegrown halfback and how long do I have to wait.
Im not talking just any halfback, but a DCE, Cronk, JT style one.
You know, the kid who gets given a chance in FG and just kills it.
Please say we have someone, anyone, even a 12yr old.

hahaha Sterlo will never be replaced. One in a million player.
Really? Why are people saying we should go after DCE then. Surely Matterson's not that far away from FG, or is he?
I admit I have only seen one game that he played in and that was the last one against the warriors.
He looked alright.
Matterson will make his debut at lock or in the back-row, IMO.
He's a decent five-eighth and has a great running game that you want from a half but just can't see him playing in the halves in FG.
Troy Dargan is probably the gun kid to watch. Plays at half and he can play.
Matterson's future will be at lock, but he is talented enough to play 6 while a younger bloke.
Ham and 40/20 will be your best bet to know the best talent coming through the ranks.
I can't see ZDC ever making it as a half either.
WAs Sterlo home grown - I thought he wasn't
Whilst Sterlo was born in Toowoomba he did go to Patrician Brothers and worked his way through Parramatta's junior ranks. He qualifies as homegrown.
How long do I wait til I find out if youre BSing me? Hahaha
