Des is turning around the Titanic. It's taking time for them to adapt to him, and we've seen the results of some of that in the last few weeks. He needs time to change the roster before they sack him. Same goes for Benji, they are doing a roster cleanout and you can't really assess him till next year when Luai joins them.
O'Brien, you could say they are without their best player in Ponga. Hope they aren't considering a change, as this could mean McDermott might stay where he is and get the top role.
Thinking that Payton would be the one most nervous with the roster he's got.
Payten is the next if NQ miss the 8. The roster at hand and missing it 3 out of the 4 years he has been there, think he will be next to go. Hannay and BA in line to take over there.
That squad, being so young, could have started a dynasty or at least been on track to compete with Penrith, but they havent. Payten seems to have rubbed players the wrong way and perhaps over work them. There was a rumour last year about a team that went off the coach when he was forcing them or guilt tripping them into playing hurt and not giving them the right rest needed, they were forced to play with injections. I reckon NQ were that club as they had a lot of players, young also, that were coming off a 27 game season making the prelim, Origin and a WC, of course their bodies would regress due to not being used to it. Payten seemed to push them to much.
O'Brien weirdly enough has seemed to go from on a knife's edge at Newcastle to a favourite son. He signed a new 3 year deal til 2027, doubt they would want to pay him out that long. He will get one more year.
Des is doing well considering his squad and their culture, he is fine.
Benji i believe will get another year but if they only win say 1-2 more games all year? Richardson might want his own guy in there.

"Good job Poppa.
Personally I didn't think Half Yours would stay the 3200m and lets be honest it was a terrible preperation in horse racing terms, the horse had been up since January, it was almost like every race since about May was an afterthought…"
"One of those two Moretti or Tuivaiti have been earmarked as Jnrs replacement ideally if these 2 kick on its problem solved. That's the ideal scenario for Parra and it will allow us to swing harder in positions of need.

We need to sign McDermott before the Knights give O'Brien the shaft and offer him the head coach role.
meh hannay the key the the premiership
Why is Hannay your pick Trent?
Hasler won't be sacked. They're without Tino and Brimson. Brimson makes a world of difference to their side.
Payton i hear is hanging by a thread. Watch Hannay get the job. Payton also offside with alot of players
