  If we want to make the 8 very important little period the win against the dragons gives us a great shot at 10 comp points in a row. We would have have a very poor finish not to make the 8 if we are on 24 points with 6 games to go.

  The Storm have the best power forward running pack in the comp. A massive test for our boys with game management very important. However without their playmakers they offer little in attack outside a kick threat if their pack can be maintained.
  The bulldogs game is the key for me. Off the back of a freshen up( the boys deserve a break away from footy for a few days) it will be interesting to see our mindset to start our semi final run and if our stop start year with backline pairings further erodes our attacking timing. The dogs game to be the platform to launch the second and the most important part of the season outside finals.

  I dobt know if you saw the last storm game but Brodie Croft is a Cooper Cronk clone. OK the cows were missing JT but Croft just played with them. Throw in their under 20s hooker - Smith who was great plus Riley Jacks....this team will be no pushover.

  Guth at 1 is a great start.all the other pieces just fall into place in the backline and French showed what he is capable of on the wing , Smith at 9 is fine. I think we can trouble the best teams on our day as long as we get a favourable bounce as we did yesterday.

  Hopefully we can hit the semi's with some good form. The team entering with the best form usually gets close to winning it.

  Well we play the team coming 16,15,14,13 and 12(twice). We play melbourne at the best possible time to play them. Not to mention we have 2 byes, our only real threat is brisbane.
  I think its almost certain we will be there considering we only need to 4 of those games.
