News limited

Why do news limited clubs get the rub of the green all the time. Hunt doesn't ground ball still a try, dragon player tackled mid air and no penalty. Broncs score off ensuing six. The joys of having Lachlan Murdoch as your major owner I guess. Got to love the uneven playing field which is the nrl. What chance the eels winning their fifth penalty count of the year this weekend and the first since round ten. Pro ally fark all, you can only dream .

  • I thought there was enough to show some part of the ball would have touched the ground (benefit of the doubt)

The ball bounced. If that was a penalty then if you jump to take a pass and get tackled it would be a penalty.

I think refs have been fair so far.
    • Surely it's still a penalty. We can train so that with every hit up you jump in to the defenders and every tackle then becomes a penalty for tackling in the air. What a spectacle it'd be.
  • 1 he grounded the ball

2 tackled in the air rule is only if catching on full
  • Beat me to it coco. He grounded it for sure and by Ryan's logic, all you need to do is jump in the air just before contact during a hit up and you deserve a penalty.
  • He definately grounded the ball. And the kick was caught on the bounce. Learn the rules

    • Results going well for us so far this weekend. Just need the warriors to lose and us to win and we become likely semi finalists this year.
  • I bet $50 that we only win the penalty v Raiders.
    They hate ricky too !

    • Absolutely. That sin-binning was a shocker of a call. The no knock on may be by the rule, but fails the common sense test.
If it costs the broncos the game they've a right to be filthy.
    • They certainly changed the rules so you can't ground the ball with your chest or stomach to score a try. The knock on rule I'm not sure about....
  • you were saying.

Ben cummins is too incompetent to be part of a stitch up

"I think Tui had more of an impact than Doorey did. And is the prop that MUST be on the bench every game. And if Tualagi can do that against the Broncos, he can do it against the Dragons. I'd be keeping him in at edge, or at least the bench. The…"

"There's your mistake, your right there Eli. "Build the squad he wants".
That cant happen if the squad he wants can't be signed by R&R.
How does that get rectified.
Interesting. Ryles appears like a fantastic signing and has changed the clubs…"
