Newcastle are definite wooden spooners 2010

I spoke to a very reliable source recently about the Danny Wicks incident. He told me that Danny wicks was caught with a considerable amount of drugs whenhe was caught. Enough to put him away for a very long time. He also said thatthere were 8 other Newcastle players caught in the phone taps with Danny.I wish the Newcastle club and the NRL would come clean about this before the season startsbecause this is going to blow up big time if it doesnt.Thankgod none of this happens at Parra

  • no manly will be cause they suck dick
    • I hope ya right eels4life09 cause UNFORTUNATELY the dick sucking manly bastards have never got the spoon!!!

I would be the happiest man in the world should that eventuate......so.... please, please, please let em break their luck in 2010. It would be nearly as good as parra winning the GF.
      • even tho that fat fuck orford was the most over rated halfback in history, they will struggle without him, thank god as i hate manly so much and melbourne storm are going up there to.
  • My money is on the sharks for the spoon
    • I will not even dignify this with an answer....
    • Ur right about certain things not being reported to the media, but i have been told the accusations are more true than false..I mean its not like he got caught with a few pills...it was a huge amount. Newcastle has always had a bit of a drug culture up there with and the admistrators have done nothing to wipe it out. Andrew Johns would simply just tell the coach he wasnt coming in to training for a week and miss out on testing.
Its not like Danny was forced into this, and they did do phone taps on him for 6 months. Despite all of the Media reports that none of the other Newcastle players tested positive, i can assure you that there will be a number of other players involved in this
  • I hope Newcastle don't get the wooden spoon. I'd much rather other teams get it.

With all the stuff starting up for Newcastle its starting to feel like last year for my team. Hope for them that it isn't as dramatic/ depressing...
  • i personally think the wooden spooners for 2010 will be one of the following:
knights, dragons, sea eagles, broncos, titans, cowboys, panthers, warriors,
raiders, tigers, sharks, rabbitohs, storm, roosters or the dogs...
i am not an expert but i think one of those will be the spooners for sure
  • It's not the media not revealing details - trust me if they can verify allegations they will report it. The police only release details that relate directly to any charges laid against a person. 6 months of telephone intercepts will probably only produce a couple of % of calls being made public in Court, and that's only if the people involved plead not guilty. So if calls are intercepted from other players which appear drug related, but there is no further evidence from those calls relating to charges laid, those calls will not be made public. It's quite hard to lay charges based on telephone calls only - you have to prove other elements to prove the charge, like proving exactly who is talking during the phone conversation and evidence of the alleged drug. So you can imagine how much information the police have that will not be made public or be subject to charges. It's not the first time significant trafficking has been investigated by police from NRL players, and most of the time we hear very little about it. It would be naive to believe that a lot of people at the club didn't know what Wick's was doing, and obviously there would be some using his services, but a lot of that detail will never be made public. My drum is believe a lot of the rumours on the extent of drug use at the club. It can be stamped out though, look at how they turned the bulldogs drug culture around from similar circumstances only a couple of years ago. Have you ever wondered what happens to whatever club Mason plays for?
    • I just really think it is sh#t that he was doing all these Anti Drug campaigns for the kids in the areas. And he even won community awards for doing them.
I do hope that they do turn the club around though because they are a good team and they mean alot to the community

""Chance is mist" is a really appropriate typo/autocorrect. The chance just goes pfft, evaporates into nothing. Not sure Dylan B has got the mix right this year, more often passing when he should run or running when he should pass. "
