New Year's Resolution

Now that 2023 is just a breath away what are your top 3 New Year's resolutions that you really intend to keep? Mine are:

1) Stop getting angry and irritated over stupid things even the Eels bench selection.

2) Try to be courteous and kind to everyone even if I disagree with them.

3) Treat my wife with more love, respect and believe in her projects even if I think they're silly.

  • Does 1 and 2 apply to your wife or is she exempt?

  • Definitely, although she isn't an Eels supporter.

    • If my wife is anything to go off stupid things are raised from time to time, nothing football related. I'm sure I do the same to her on occasion. All the best for 2023 mate, hope it is a good one

      • Thanks Adam, same to you mate. Hope you and your family have a great, healthy and happy 2023.

  • You have set a nice standard PT47. None of them cost anything but bring a lot of rewards to everyone involved including yourself

    • Agree Tad, they say 'happy wife happy life'. I've found that to be true on many occasions. I think forgiving wrongs done to you ( not always easy depending of course what it is) and putting it behind you can solve many a heartache. Not just in the family environment but life in general. I've found that people who tend to hold onto wrongs done to them become very bitter which leads to many health problems including stress.

      • PT the best way to put trivial disagreements into perspective is to have a look what others around the world have to live with on a daily basis...I try and think about that when annoyances present themselves

  • Try and complete my main resolution from ten years ago 😞🙄 and this

    • I have full faith in you Carlo.

2023 will be your year of ticking off x a million trillion on your to do list.

Sorry to hear about the true original "spaniel" amiga 😞

      Feliz ano novo x

      • Oh bless bert ❤️❤️

it's been so hard seeing his house and bed - hope you and your love and baby bert have had a great Xmas . So good to see your name I've missed you so much 😎

"Personally I don't think gaining Lomax would cost us Talagi. He had a great 1st game and could possibly be better than Lomax when he gets going. He could move to the wing for some time to develop then move to the centres later. If he becomes better…"

I totally agree with your comments regarding the importance and benefits regarding local juniors at discounted rates, however,  this is only a factor with their 1st contract if they show promise.  Once a player starts showing they have regular…"

"Nah Tago is a centre who may later transition into the backrow. I believe Turuva will leave the club which is fair enough. I think May will move back to the wing and the Mclean brothers will start making their way into FG. Panthers have Laurie and…"

"We definitely need Lomax more than we need Grieg. Plus I back BA to develop gun forwards if we need to. We already have amazing forwards coming through our Matt, SG and Flegg team."
