New Technology

I'm going overseas next year but I want either a small, light weight laptop or Tablet. I've looked into the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the iPad. I'm leaning more towards the Galaxy as it includes Office, Adobe and it can be synched with my Google account. Any other ideas?

  • Get the Galaxy mate. I have an iPhone though for tablets the Galaxy's are great.

  • Sega megadrive if you want the sonic the hedgehog app...

If you need anymore help with your promblem pls contact me @ Ronnieidontknowwhatimonabout@apple.com

  • Thanks mate I'll look into that one.
  • Mate, don't buy anything now. If you're going next year wait till the end of year when Windows 8 comes out and you start seeing products like the Lenovo Yoga. There's going to be a whole bunch of new devices come out that give you all the power of your notebook, but that will convert into tablet format for reading or whatever. Especially if your taking away something for travelling, one device that you can type on, but also use as a tablet will be ideal.

    • I'm not looking for anyyhing too advanced. From what I've seen and read the Samsung Galaxy Tab does what I'm looking for. I was looking for something I can do basic tasks on, surf the net, watch some video and do it for a decent price.
  • I've got an ipad 3 with the new retina screen, I love it, but I use it mostly for entertainment. Might not be the best for business purposes however it is great for getting online. I get on here on my ipad all the time.

  • Just wait for the right buy on any Android tablet then as they'll all do what you want then. If you hold out until a new model come out, the old models regularly pop up at like $350.

    • Currently I can buy the Galaxy 10.0 for $400 and I'm planning on buying it later this year so it's likely it would've dropped to close to $350.

  • Get anything Android related. Preferably Samsung if you're looking at tablets. They leave those piece of shit Apple products for dead.

  • I have the Asus Transformer Prime, would recommend that to anyone
