  • Wow, my juices are flowing.  That is something very special and the players will absolutely love it (we may be even able to attract new elite players and sponsors because of these facilities).  The noise will reverberate around the stadium and it will be loud.  This is the true colosseum!

  • BOOM, Seriously was close to shedding a tear watching that, that our club is getting that is breathtaking, amazing stadium!

My only concern is the V shaped openings under the top of the roof, im worried that might let too much noise out and not be great for acoustics but they are the experts, i trust they've thought of that.

Amazing modern designs never really seen here in Australia.

    • x2 :)

  • I cant wait to its done I can go to a home game

    ILL BE BACK

  • I think the limited budget can be seen in the constriction under the stands, it looks very open, im a little disappointed its not really got outside construction in some areas but im sure it will be outstanding.

The outside proposals and designs are great, the old stadium was so depressing and unkept, now its going to look like a stadium deserved of us playing there.

This is going to be an absolutely huge boost to the club and area, something to be really proud of.

  • Monto they are just computer generated images, i don't think it looked any more WSW than Eels, the red just stands out a bit better.

  • Apparently that's an early version so hopefully the real one will be even better!

UPDATE: Constructors LendLease - who released the video on a Vimeo channel in their name earlier today - have asked us to take this video down as the "flythrough is incorrect" and should not have been released. They say it was an early version of their video was made public in error. We hope to have
    the newest version shortly.

    • You're kidding Monto
    • From those screen grabs, the stands are empty when the eels are playing.
What are they trying to say?
  • How good are the steepest stands in Oz? thats the shiz...
