Those awaiting any news on new signings or the re-signing of Hayne and others - don't hold your breath.
There's a procedure, or an order that the club will undertake in order to appease the fans.
1. Firstly, the club will release its long awaited review that most fans would already have known the answers too. BA staying - need for a head of football - more emphasis on jnr pathways ect ect.
2. Announcement of a new head of football. Parramatta are probably another month or two away from this release as the club only started advertising a few weeks ago. Brian Smith/Moss mentioned.
3. Signings. No matter who has signed or is being re-signed - the fans will not hear anything else until November as these signings will be used as a sweetener to calm the fans after the review report. New signings under a new head of football restructure will also give the impression of instant success.
The signings of Shaun Lane (done), Hayne ( reportedly staying), Liam Knight ( rumoured done) and maybe Tapau/Klemmer will not be released anytime soon. So don't hold your breath, buy a carton of good beer and totally chill out, watch the finals and listen to poppa's silly rants until at least Nov 1.
