Mate , we need quality not quantity and bulldogs buying spree from last year shows that to a tee. Yes Burton and JAC are class but the others are not improving them. I agree we need to get to the market but we need to nail the right type of player.
Losing Ice is criminal and Reed is going to hurt but sometimes you find a diamond in the rough when looking .
Agree totally we need to target some young guns in our weak positions.

So tell me what has Mahoney done so far this year? Sub par at best! If Moses was having the year Mahoney was then everyone would be bleating and wanting his head. Mahoney on this site is kissed on the dick!
You say Hodgson is old and crippled yet Mahoney gives us nothing when we are in the red zone and cannot move us around the field. That old crippled Raider will settle Moses and DBrown and even Gutho down to run their game a lot better. Hodgson seems to have time and know what to do instead of panic like Mahoney does from time to time.
You cannot have your team made up entirely of young guys. Experience is so important and we lack that in a couple of our spine positions. Remember Moses is young and only now is coming into his own after years of struggle and pain. DBrown even younger and has struggled and Mahoney has been in first grade all of 2-3 years.
Brett has been saying that there are some good players coming through our development program but in order for them to become elite players they need mentors. Experienced blokes to guide them and the team otherwise they become just another first grade player with potential that are eventually dished off to another team and as we have seen before come back to tear us apart!
What a load of garbage. Reed's been very good for us his year. You have no idea.
Exept the times his halback has already mentioned he's virtually lost us the games by not giving him the ball when requested. Reeds been ok for us. Nothing special and better than many , but hardly a superstar .
That happens all the time. I've seen Munster ream Grant or Brandon Smith for not getting him the ball when he wants it. Again like quality halves there aren't tfat many quality 9's, even fewer who are 23 and are rep level.
Anyway that ship has sailed.
