New signings

I'm the first bloke to roll my eyes every time a player gets linked to a move to Parra, there's been plenty of them i.e Watmough, Folau, Buhrer, Wade Graham to name a few. I'm the first to look at our current lineup and the players we have coming through in NYC and NSW cup and think we have plenty of depth and talent and that I wouldn't want to get rid of any of them. But we all have to admit that we need to sign some more good first grade players. We might be a team that can get top 8, but we aren't a team that can win a premiership. I know if we win the next couple of games my confidence will sky rocket again, but this is the third game this year that we have looked absolutely terrible. I for one will welcome any signing that BA and his team think is a good signing for the club and accept any player we have to let go as a result.

after tonite; we need a replacement for jo paulo NOW!! and im reading rumors with interest as we keep playing serial offenders in the team. hunt can go back to wenty .

Yes i know I am in the minority here. I do not have the Paulo hate that most on here have. He isn't always good, he is sometimes ordinary, he is an important key to our attacking prowess this season. I think he is the fall guy on this page. Time will tell if he can win you over like Hayne has, remember the princess tags last season?

Or u could try and lure James graham he is a really good ball player for a forward

There are some obvious choices that could be easily replaced with other players, I think there are going to be some tough decisions though. Players that we look at and think we couldn't possibly get rid of them may have to go to make way for tried and proven first graders / match winners.

As I've stated numerous times on here. If you aren't in the player market EVERY YEAR, then you are effectively going backwards with the squad development.
Improving a squad is a three pronged process.
RETENTION.
RECRUITMENT.
DEVELOPMENT.
If one of these are missing then you are effectively giving the opposing teams the edge before a season begins. BA needs to follow through with this and not become blinkered and think we have all the players we need moving forward.

Please add my name to to Joseph Paulo admirers. BUT he must be played in position. I honestly think he is a 5/8 and must take the pass two off the ruck. He is not a hooker.
Paulo was not the reason we got smashed last night. The blame lies fairly and squarely on the forwards.
He obviously cannot be played at 5/8 as Norman has a mortgage on the spot so he is played at lock.
Our attack is immeasurably better when Sefa is on the park.
