So reading the latest in the media it seems that Orford and not Thurston is the most likely signing. Perhaps we were living in a fool's paradise in thinking we could get Thurston. Our CEO's email said that we should expect an announcement shortly so let's hope we can put an end to the rumours soon. Is it now time to take down the Thurston as an Eel pic?
I will be fine with the signing of Orford as we desperately need an experienced "winner" in the halves. Remember he has been a part of premiership success.

We just need to offer him a 1yr deal before 2012 when we can go for Cooper Cronk or even Quade Cooper :)
If we get him, he will a massive boost to the halves and attacking options and also provide a mentor role for the younger halfs and other younger players.
Can't wait to hear if we get his signature.
If we get JT which is highly unlikely then we will be good as well.
Then we'd be in a mess!
