With so much content on the site these days, if you miss a couple of days it's near impossible to catch up. I was trying to figure out a way to deal with this, but thankfully my platform provider added a new feature this week that will help.
There is a new Leaderboards page which you can find under the Home tab.
This displays the top content for the week. It also picks out the top members, top pics and top videos. Apparently, it figures all this based on a combination of quality and quantity, so posts that are clicked on the most & which generate the most comment; for members its a combination of how much you've contributed and how much your contributions have caused other people to contribute.
Also I've added Top Content for the day onto the front page. Hopefully that will keep some of the more interesting threads on the front page for a little longer, so a rash of new bloods don't bump them off the front entirely.
