Who says Foran is gone?
BA does not agree. He has a whole off season and the remainder of this season to get his act together. As long as he is not proven to be involved in the max fixing investigation and found guilty, I still expect him on board next season. Accept it if I am wrong.
No thanks!
He's not cheap. Unless Newcastle want to ditch him and pay half his salary. However, I saw more from Gutho in one game, than I've seen all year from Hodkinson, quite frankly.
Corey Norman is more than capable of being our halfback, if you insist on defining halves in that fashion.
He's developed a good kicking game, his game management has improved out of site, and I think he could carry the load while Gutherson learns the ropes. He's basically been forced into that role since Sandow departed, so as far I'm concerned he's now a bona fide genuine dominant playmaker, which is how I define the half-back role.
Remember that Foran wasn't a "half-back" here either.
He could be a really good fit at Parra. Especially if we can keep Norman.
