I am getting the feeling that with SK now as head coach, he is moulding our team into a team similar to the Storm. All these players we have signed are players that the Storm would sign. It appears SK has inherited Bellamy's penchant for purchasing bargain players and turning them into quality first graders
We are supposedly $1mil under the cap. Adding to this figure Hayne and Hindy salaries, our team is running on about $3mil. We have been guilty in the past for paying overs to players. At least next year, we can say all our players will be "earning" their money. I don't mind this at all.
I have complete trust and faith in SK.

The thing that i'm seeing with these signings, they are disciplined players, and players that follow a game plan. Which of late has been a glaring problem for Eels teams.
Kearney out coached Aust as head of N.Z....
He will follow that trend into 2011.
But then again look at his players in the Kiwi team eg Marshall,Luke,Vatuvei etc. these players thrive on 2nd phase play and if we were to go to structured play for 80 mins I don't think we would be able to play to our potential.
I think that at the first 30 mins of the game we should have structure and be disciplined in attack but in the last 10 of the first half we should play ad-lib football because it would catch teams off guard and let players like Burt and Hayne reek havoc around the ruck
The difference is that we don't have a killer halfback, hooker and fullback combination! Melbourne did this with Slater, Cronk and Smith and still had cheat the system. We've only got Hayne and i'm sad to say but were are going to look like an embarrassing retirement village.
Bellamy is a fraud, won premierships at the Storm while cheating and failed miserably with NSW. I hope SK is better.
We have Hayne Plus Mitchell.... and nobody was complaing about Mortimer last year!!!!

if sk can get them to fire, is it not a plus for us,to mold with our jnr players loko , brian ect.
we will have a good team, i always knew parra was never fit enough,and to many wanted short cuts, ray price quated this last year, and about mateo,i think parra will fire.
