New Board

I have a idea in regards to potential board members. Make it a stipulation to be a part of the new professional Parramatta board, I know hold the laughter , you must bring with you a minimum &500,000 in guaranteed TPAs.I realise this is very difficult to achieve this amount in third party's but what this would do is guarantee not only that the prospective board member has business acumen but the required contacts to elevate the club to a position of loft that has been out of reach for far too long.With 8 board members achieving this goal our TPA total of $4 million would dwarf even the Broncos. I can hear you all now , the NRL will move the goal posts or the targets can't be achieved .We have no control over the decision makers of the game but if we make our board members earn the right to be a part of the club like our players , the only way is up. Until this process is achieved , I realise it would take a while we spend the dollars on a Bernie Gurr and a couple of other like minded professionals to look after the club and its concerns in the meantime.

Untill your ratified as a board member you have no affiliation with the club. You can organise whatever the hell you want.

  Good point, Though I don't see the NRL allowing it, and I'd rather our board members use thier influence in a more discreet manner

  It can be discreet , my main point being any board member needs to bring more then business accumen, the way forward is massive TPAs . That needs to be the focus of any board member when it comes to the football department.

The club needs to elect business PROFESSIONALS who understand business, not old Rugby League or electorate personalities. Board members don't need to understand League, they need to understand business. The coach and Football director need to understand Rugby League.
