The plans to turn ANZ into a 75,000 seat stadium and bring the seats 48m closer have been revealed.
Global construction and engineering company Laing O'Rourke, and architects BVN Donovan Hill have completed full structural detail of the re-design for ANZ Stadium, which will bring seats up to 48 metres closer to the action.
The re-design, which also includes a roof, has been described as a Suncorp Stadium on steroids, with the gradient of the stands to be significantly steeper than it is now. See pics in the link.

This is tied in with why they are trying to cap Parra stadium at 30k, they dont want it to take any games away from ANZ imo.
That looks like one hell of a stadium.
Very nice indeed.
I like the look of it. In fact it was discussed at the ground about the future.
Question for all.
They want to upgrade ANZ and ALLIANZE and PARRA
This makes no sense.
If Parra start work next year they would not be doing ANZ anytime soon.
Also if they did wouldnt that impact DOGS EEL SOUTHS AND TIGERS home games.
They should leave Allianze alone nothing needs to be done there.
Upgrading ANZ is a great idea and more suitable to watching NRL.
PARRA stadium for mine should be 35-40k so it allows Panthers and Wanderers games to be played there as well for the future.
If you're going to that much trouble, build it with a larger capacity. I'm sure 90,000 seat stadium would fill during the big games and give more people a chance to see the big games live.
Don't get me wrong I don't mind the artists impression but give it another 10,000 capacity FFS.
