We have a massive game coming up against the Storm for a number of reasons. Obviously there is everything to do with last year's Premiership and the salary cap but purely from this season's perspective, its critical that we win to put ourselves back into the eight and to give the side some confidence going forward.
The side has been chosen. If you don't like it, then save up your pennies so you can say "I would have told you so" after the game. However, for once, how about we all support the boys who are going to line up against the Storm and give them a chance to play.
As I've said numerous times, the last two weeks have not in anyway reflected a typical game. We have a near full-strength side, we'll hopefully have a "normal" preparation leading into the game and I trust any difficulties they have had over the past week, the club and the players has been professional enough to put behind them. I stand by my belief that we have the talent to win a premiership if the club can keep focused and if we all stand by the players as they continue to improve their combinations and structures. We didn't win four in a row against tough opposition, playing away from home, because our side is bereft of talent.
From one to seventeen, all of our boys can play and I still believe represent the best roster in the competition, out of those still eligible to win the Premiership.
So any negative blogs until Friday 7:30pm will be sent to the trash section of the website. If you want to post negative comments do it there as well. However, in the main Parra Eels section I call on all of you to get right behind the boys all week, show your support and then get to that game on Friday (and if you can with the Swarm) and show the NRL how proud a club we are.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for this blog. :-)
I also stand by our team and our boys. I trust the coaching staff and know that if we all get behind our team we can give it to the Storm this weekend. I don't think the last 2 weeks give any cause for concern. We know what our team are capable of - that talent has not dissipated, it's there... just itching to come out.
I will do my best to make sure only positivity remains on the front page. :-)
