When the big guys ie: our forward pack trample there way upfield just to watch Gutho have a brain snap or Moses drop it dead or just plain old what do we do now happens with the whole backline, it must be hard for them to stomach after you've just used your body as a battering ram.
Jr Paulo, RCG, N Brown, Matto, Kafusi and even the rest you deserve an apology!
BA and assistant coaches and the whole backline from 1 to 7 should apologise for letting their forwards down after all there hard work.
Against the lesser teams, yes we do well because our forwards not only lay a platform but bash them and the opposition weekens and tire and holes appear and they drop off tackles and don't slide making us look good.
Against the top teams our forwards step up their game even more and play with all their might, and our backs, they get lost, no depth in the line, zero speed, and even try to get a forward to barge over the line for them.
Waqa must be dropped thats simple, how our coaching staff have not worked out he's not a good defender is beyond me, it's very puzzling.
There's a reason Penrith were willing to pay a massive chunk to see him go, its a shame because a lot of us had high hopes when we signed him.
Also just a quick note, We have no speed, Moses would be the fastest player currently playing unless you let our backs get a run up.......Teams have worked this out, don't let Fergo Waqa and co wind up, get on them as soon as they get the ball.
Every team needs speed, Saab for manly tonight was very good, using his inertia he hit Sivo hard, we don't have a player with speed to burn like that, think Addo-Carr, X Coates, Papynhauzen etc that is pure speed and speed wins.
I am at such a loss, waiting for so long, as kid I went to every Parra GF and have had nothing but pain ever since. People keep saying Parra can win the comp but we can't, we are not on the level of the top teams.
We need faster players full stop player numbers 1 to 7 need to apologise to our forwards and sorry Waqa you gotta be dropped
the end

Not sure why the forwards need an apology. They got bashed tonight by a hungrier, no-name pack. 1-17 got out-enthused, out-muscled and dominated. Manly wanted it more.
I don't think our forwards were that bad. Yes, there were periods of the game where their intensity outdid us and they outmuscled us. Junior seems to have lost a little of his impact, and oppositions are now taking away his off load which is hurting. RCG is going great. Brown was being baited all game but gave 100 percent. Lane again, hot and cold. Matto had some good moments but also some lapses. Mahoney was again solid, but also pretty well shut down. No excuse for the loss but Manly were doing an aweful lot of stuff in the background that went completely unchecked including the multiple jersey holds. Anyway, Manly were too good for us today and deserved the win. Our backs are our issue and BA needs to wake up and do somthing to fix it. Our attack in just so disjointed, directionless at crucial times, lack of support play for ball runners, and truthfully repetitive and prectable. Like playing a stuck record, over and over again!
I thought the Manly forward pack out muscled us for much of the match
100% they did - and that's where the game was lost.
I put up a post 3 / 4 weeks ago about our lack of speed, especially Fergs old legs and I got burnt by people on here.
Moses / Dylbags are our quickest of the mark and yep everyone else does need a wind up.
The poor defence is alarming, will it be the same V Bunnies when BA slots Marata in for Blake. I think he'll keep his son in tho I'd rather see Rankin who has the experience to see what's coming and handle it from his 10+ years of playing Snr Footy.
I think Junior has been playing hurt.
He's been wearing the sternum guard of doom the last month and running almost out in the centres. He's been well below his best since after the Dragons game . Offloads have gone in the cupboard too.
I have to agree our forwards didn't bustle like against the roosters, maybe a game like that takes it out of them and they're a bit busted then they muscle up against a thug pack at the warriors and drop off against manly, So maybe it's a peaking thing, I just watched N Brown and couldn't help but think our backs cannot score tries unless we're against weaker teams
Attitude, That was the issue on Sunday. Eels looked the same in the Dragons game and it is something they need to get right. It is a lesson that I thought would of been learnt by now but obviously not. Certainly Jake Arthur needs more work in defence but he is still young and learning the game. We seemed to get into try scoring position then drop the ball or poor pass while trying to score instead of wearing Manly down. BA has an obvious game plan that works for us but the team just didn't stick to it.
