Need for Change?

With the Raiders match coming up and their large pack I think we need to tweak to roster to help blunt their forwards. Yesterdays match highlighted just how much influence Mannah has on our game. He might not be flashy but does the little things well, does not make many errors and provides plenty of go forward.

The only player of size we have is Rory O'Brien and from all reports has been playing well for Wenty. Change him for Terepo who provided little impact.

  • I did not know Terepo played yesterday so yes drop him he did nothing at all

  • I agree with Mannah, I thought our forwards missed his experience, especially at the end of the game. He could have been the difference.

I actually thought Terepo had great impact. He comes of the bench and runs with purpose. Two infuriating penalties though which had me yelling at him!

    • What game are you watching? Terepo didn't drop any balls.
  • Perhaps, some should take note of some stats from yesterday's game. On paper - Peni was one of the better performers relative to go-forward/yardage. Not sure of the value of plonking for more size.
  • What the king is DEAD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO please tell me  this is a april fools joke gone wrong

  • The player most like Mannah in style is Alvaro. His first game off the bench was bland but since returning to Wenty has made team of the week 2 out of three ( dont know how they went this week) Get rid of Gower. He is a bench first grader at best. Insert Alvaro and see if he aims up. This is what Manly did with the fat Trobjevic brother and that experiment worked. This is the time of year to gives these things a go.
  • Oh no. We lost a game at the death and everyone is calling for changes again.

  • Gower is not a prop full stop, his best position is 2nd row and it showed when he put semi through vs the tigers

  • Watching the raiders tonight their forward pack looks formidable. Eels are in for a real tough match next week. Don't know if any changes are required the Eels are just going to have to tackle in packs to stop them. Our defence will really be tested.
    • Andrew Johns has Blake Austin and Aiden Sezer (I would have to agree on at least Austin) as his chosen halves pairing for the blues in this years origin series. So if their forwards are doing their job we are going to have to improve dramatically I think to get over the top of them.
