Nathan Peats

Apoligies if there's already a blog about him, I haven't seen one. Out for 6-8 weeks with another shoulder injury. I recall someone on here questioned his actual output for Parra during the debate about him being the one to go last year. He did miss a lot of games through injury and maybe we did the right thing by offloading him.

  • Teams would always have to take the players injury background into account, when valuing ones contract.
  • Peats is a tough little player but has always been seen to be injury prone.
  • Not doubting his toughness. But hes had the same shoulder issue for a number of years now. It says he'd be out for the season if he gets an op on it. I'm sure the same thing happened in 2015.
  • problem being when parra is looking at signing a hooker for 2018 he will most likely be the best one available also read that he has been training and working on his diet etc because he wants to become an 80 minute hooker unlikely to get it at titans but would suit our club nicely i would still love to see him in the blue and gold

    • He came with a crook shoulder from souths and I doubt it was fixed properly before he came, he had issues with it while here and if its the same shoulder I would suggest he is a very big risk to sign, as he now has a solid pre-existing problem to overcome.

Sad really would love to have seen him fully fit and injury free

  • I recon you are spot on mate.

  • Bring him back!
  • I know I mentioned his injuries and that he did spend a lot of time on the sidelines, so too did his team mate Jarryd. Haynes final year with us was the only year he put a full season together with us. I said to a mate that year, 2014?, that if Hayne remained free of injuries and played all 3 origins that NSW would win. He did and we did.
There's something about Peatsy that makes me think we are not too bad without him?
    Fog for 9!
    • Fog at 9 would be a good option as he has a good kicking game and he tackle . We should look for a good half for 2018 if gutherson doesn't play good in 2017 .
