Nathan peats

Also came off with an injury to his hand, seen him on sideline talking to his wife saying his not going back on and had ice on his knee and hand, is it me or does it seem like he loves to be injured because he loves to just throw himself into a tackle when not needed and puts himself in a bad position. Seems like he doesnt care about his body what so ever lol. But he impressed me tonight

  • He was f ordinary tonight sry , he tried hard but to me looked like he was trying to play his way back into form. But should be done in res grade. He was slow from dummy half his line speed was slow passes were off and failed to to float left and right with ball in hand until late in the second half.He will be fine though just needs a it more time......
    • He wasnt even on the field in the second half?
    • Are you seriously bagging Peats, his first game back from breaking his neck.  The very fact he is even playing is pretty special.  I thought he was solid tonight and will get far better with another 2 or 3 games under his belt.

    • I dont know what game you were watching. He was pretty solid and did more to earn his spot than IDG.
    • His service from dummy half was fantastic. He's a part of a quality team this year. He only needs to do his job and get quick, quality ball to the first receiver.
    • I agree to some extent with you FG. Did his job competently but nothing outstanding. His attack was not up to his normal standard. Maybe working his way into form. Thought IDG was below his best also. Would like to see either Pritchard or King as backup but think both are not in top 25.

  • he seemed pretty upbeat and pumped for the season on twitter post game so i doubt it's anything serious

  • As much as I think he is a good player, we really should be hesitant about re-signing him. He is just injured far too much in my opinion. I love the guy, think he is hilarious and he plays well when on the field, but he just isn't on the field enough.

    • Indeed. Injuries are my only concern. if he gets sidelined for a extended period, will he be re-signed?
  • I hear yah Glen, I'm not the best judge of Peats ability to play his way back into his best form.BA is and if he believes in Peats then so do i.Would love to see Peats start with King of the bench just to take pressure of him a little and give us more creativity around the ruck.....
