Just hours after the NRL grand final, Nathan Hindmarsh morphed from rugby league hero into the genuine article when he saved a fan from a potentially fatal accident in Parramatta.A Gold Coast woman has revealed how a trip to Sydney for the grand final weekend almost turned into tragedy."A group of us flew down to watch the decider at Parramatta Leagues Club," Eels fan Leanne Clark explains. "Afterwards we were walking through Parramatta when we saw Hindy and I went to get his autograph."We were both on the road and this car came screaming around the corner. Because I had my back to it, I didn't see. That's when Hindy grabbed me and got me off the road ... had he not acted, I would've been collected."Ms Clark added that despite losing, Hindmarsh was signing autographs, posing for photos - and even gave up his hat when a young fan asked for it.
