They're the 2 men that fans think about when you mention their respective clubs. Nathan Hindmarsh, the Parramatta stalwart and Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool legend, are 2 men that are extremely popular in their sports. As a Parramatta and Liverpool fan I feel privileged to have watched both these men play. Anyone who has seen Gerrard play will know how much he means to the club. He's been at Liverpool, in their juniors, since the age of 8. He's to Liverpool what Hindy is to Parra. They're the inspiration for their teammates, the 2 guys who will keep going when no-one else can. Their career statistics speak for themselves. Hindmarsh has played 327 games and Gerrard 405 games.
As we all know, Hindy is one of the most respected players in the NRL. A guy all players would like to have a beer with. Steven Gerrard is respected throughout all of world football. Many opposition players and coaches have just watched in awe at how Gerrard inspired his team and led them to victory on numerous occasions. Both of these players are one club men. Gerrard has turned down numerous offers from rival clubs, some offering double the money he was on, but he chose to stay at Liverpool. Hindy has and always will be an Eel. He's blue and gold to the bone. Whilst Hindmarsh has already announced his retirement, it will be a sad day for world football when Steven Gerrard retires. I feel so lucky to have been able to watch these 2 legendary players perform at their peak for so long.

I don't know if you're baiting me or not but, Steven Gerrard is a Liverpool legend. A man who would bleed for his club. He's said that "When I die, don't take me to the hospital. Take me to Anfield. I was born there and I will die there." He's the Liverpool version of Hindy.
I was saying to my Manly mate tonight, I seriously wouldn't mind if Sticky threw the rest of the salary cap @ Hindy & Burt for 2013 because I seriously think they both have alot more to offer for this great club, it's just such a shame that we wasted the last 44 games on Kearney

You're showing disrespect to a guy who has busted his guts for his club and country. A guy who is tough and inspirational. It's unfortunate soccer has a black mark on it because of the diving Italians. Gerrard doesn't dive, he's above that. He's a club and country legend.
