Parramatta Eels lock forward Nathan Brown played much of the 2021 season with multiple lower leg injuries.
It's been revealed that Brown has recently undergone syndesmosis repair surgery and an ankle clean out on one leg and will undergo surgery on a fractured foot next week.
The tough middle forward played much of the season with the injuries alongside a rib injury and hip bruising.
It's expected he'll be fit for round one next season.
