Names from the past

Most of you on this site I'm sure are as keen as I am as a follower of the Eels for the best part of 40 yrs. From time to time I hear or think of a name that I remember playing for Parra in the 80s and 90s that may not have even played first grade. As a keen follower of all grades over the years I would like you up post the name of a player who once wore the blue and gold jersey that some may remember. A player that played very little first grade. I would just be interested in what names come Up. I'll start with three : Colum Halpenny, Keith Barnes, Chris Lawler. Over to you parra fans .

    Garen Casey and Andrew Hill.

    Both disappeared around the start of the super league war. I always wondered what happened to them. The invention of the internet sort of reveals.

    Hill was one of parra's most promising juniors and captains. He sold his ass to the now defunct western reds in Perth, then crippled young was rumoured to recently have tried to get on the Parra board.

    Casey appeared as a super sub late in the 1994 season scoring tries out of his ass on numerous occasions and for the long suffering fans of this time he was a breath of fresh air that could play half, 5/8 or centre and provided hope for better years. History shows he went straight to Penrith then UK, I'm not sure if it was because he sold his ass or if he wasn't good enough for Parra 1st grade. When Casey McGuire came to Parra I thought it was the return of a sinner, but no. Stuff you and your girls name Casey

    I bet neither will be wearing blue and gold this weekend.

      Andrew returned as development manager at Parra around 10 to 12 years ago and last I heard was in a senior role at the NRL.

"I really like Samrani but if JR decides to give him up for MB I think that is a massive mistake. 
IMO Samrani should be 1st drop for either centre/ wing if one of our starters is out. Brian Kelly is bog average and not going to get better.
