Panthers star Brent Naden has been provisionally suspended under the NRL's Anti-doping Policy.
The NRL asserts that Naden returned a positive A-sample for metabolites of cocaine following a test conducted after the Panthers' grand final loss to the Storm, in which he featured off the bench.
Why are they testing players straight after the grandfinal. Surely the nrl are asking for a bad headline with the timing. Show me a player celebrating after the gf that isn't on some form of recreational drug. Hundreds of thousands of dollars and work done for the year...why not.
As if Munster wasn't up at Byron Bay racking up the lines. Where's his post gf drug test.

Another one bites the dust.
In this case snorts it!
I think it was his second or third drug offence. Goodbye.
Yes I thought Penrith were shopping him around?
Would explain why then.
So the Panthers dobbed him in to NRL after he came to them for help? Thanks Boss.
As long as they tested employees all. Both teams.
Pretty sure the test occured straight after the gf, he took the Gak prior to the GF. Played baked.
Could be wrong.
Questions need to be answered. I'm sure Naden didn't do this alone??? Where did he get the stuff from?? Did he breach the Covid bubble restrictions??
This isn't his first time using. Whether he has been caught before or not! He obviously has been using it throughout the year. So who knew about it? Who helped him? Who covered it up for all this time?
Can't believe a player can even get in trouble for this. Illegal yes but it's not performance enhancing. What players do in their own time is none of our business. What's worse? Doing gak and not causing any trouble or going out and getting pissed and making a fool of yourself.
If you buy illegal drugs you're supporting organised crime. It's everybody's business.
