This is the best NRL team ever off the top of my head, keeping in mind the NRL started in 1998.
  • OK I meant every player who had ever played Rugby League at a professional level, Slater is no where near the best FB the NRL has ever seen. You don't need to fit every player in. Daley would get torn to shreds if he played centre. Who's your captain?
  • Mate, if u check ur facts Daley played a fair number of games in the centres for Canberra, NSW and Australia and was never torn to shreds. My captain would be Lockyer. And yes Slater is the best fullback the NRL has ever seen (i.e. since 1998), as a fullback I would put him just a fraction ahead of Lockyer, but Lockyer is the better all round player.

"Well he was offered a path at least, maybe not in the position he wanted but guarenteed FG week in week out. Penrith there was never certainty of starting straight away.
Not sure who offered more in financials though. "

"Are you talking about Julio Jones? It was sad seeing him decline the way he did. He signed with Tampa, who i support, it was a shame seeing a shell of his former HOF self."

I cannot answer for EA, but if there is a kid to play 6 now the closest bet would be Papali'i or Volkman. In future Twidle or Talataina could be the future.

"Agreed. But that has to begin at an organisational level, not just the football department.
when staff turnover is like a revolving door, it is never a good sign of stability"
