Tigers have had significant player upgrades in their roster. Yet they still played exactly the same as the 2024 spoon winning side. Benji is the problem.
Plus Benji has taken away Luai's strength, his running game. Both he and Galvin are left side running 5/8's, now is the time for Parra to offer Galvin his preferred position.
There's a few people on here who've blown such massive loads over both Galvin and Luai that you would think that if you have them together in the halves they'd be next to unbeatable. One of the worst games I've seen in ages that game.
Luai did nothing and has a pop gun general play kick. He's obviously a great 6 but he isn't an organiser.
If Dylan Brown played the game Luai did yesterday against an absolutely shit house knights this place would go into meltdown
DB is so far ahead of Galvin it's not funny. Galvin will have a tough year. 2nd year syndrome is a very real thing, teams will plan for Galvin's strengths/weaknesses. DB should be coming into his best years now. I think we have failed DBs development somewhat under our old regime and I don't think it was a conducive environment for DB to explore new plays/skills. I hope Ryles can unlock the best out of DB.
I don't mind Galvin he doesn't stand back and wait for the game to come to him he goes looking for it.I like that in a playmaker.
Thats my biggest thing about DB he's got to go looking for it or we force feed him and keep going left.I'm hoping with Ryles we have our halves on the ball more and playing to one another good things happen when Moses or Brown are constantly on the ball.
What do you mean by halted he's became an international first choice 6 for the kiwis since he's been at Parra. He's also been part of a GF side but 2 years ago.Only thing that's halted is the progress of the side around him.
I watch DB everytime he puts the jersey on and he's one I don't question because I know 9 times out of 10 he gives he's one guy that won't let the team down now those around him I can't speak for but if we are going cast stones go have a look at some of these players more senior been in the game longer than DB over the last few seasons I'm sure you'll find more fault there.
See what you have to do is give credit where it's due.Under the guy you don't rate plenty of players have been developed resuscitated and kicked onto have good careers.
If you ask me that was one of Arthur's actual strengths is taking a player and getting the best out of him.
"All these rule changes are doing is basically legislating the big men out of the game.It also limits styles different teams bring.Everyone pretty much attacks and defends in the same way.By depowering the bigger player the game loses that…"
"I've always thought that attempts to score shouldn't be punished with a 7 tackle set. So kicks within the 20 metre zone, shots at field goal and knock-ons over the line should all be a simple 20 metre restart with 6 tackles.
I've even gone as far to…"
"The six-again rule, despite PVL continuing to claim it boosted viewership, resulted in some of the most lopsided competitions in NRL history. It has and continue to be bad for the game and negatively impacts the flow of matches.
I'd love to know…"

It stops when clubs call these players' and managers' bluffs. Don't like the offer? Too bad, so sad! See ya!
Looks like we may be starting to do just that with DB's contract.
