My head is about to explode

Why in the hell do we need a press conference from this egomaniac, how many other players needed a press conference to tell us about their first day of training. This team does not need this diva. Just shut up train and let your football do the talking. I wish Jarryd would have stayed at the titans. Was really looking forward to this year after what brad Arthur has built with this team, Hayne is just a disruption we don’t need.

  • The media demanded it and he needed to be questioned about the legal case.  Now that it has occurred it will deflect the media heading into the season proper.  Although not obvious, it is actually positive media for Hayne and the club.  It is also a pressure release for Hayne and his family.  Everybody can now move forward, including the media.

    • Well said Dave
    • Correct!
    • BD, spot on in every area.  Had he not said anything, or not said that he would do the interview he would have been hounded until he did do one from the media and many on this sight.

There was little or no doubt that there would be a full media circus there on his first day at training and this was the best thing he could have done, have read where it was done in conjunction with BA who agreed and stood with him, once he finally got questions on football, many of them left, doubt there will be many there today though.

Its time for football issues now.

  • Unfortunately the cancer is back at the just have to except it
    • Well clearly BA doesn’t see him as a cancer.

    • Your a cancer

  • I wonder what BA really thinks with the benefit of hindsight about signing the Princess.

    • Well Mick he knows the real Jarryd better than any of us. Whilst he wouldn’t be thrilled about the current situation, he wouldn’t have been naive about the media attention Jarryd brings with him.

    • Hi Mick.  Signing JH is an educated risk.  The very fact that he forego a mountain of money to return to Parra speaks volumes of Hayne.  He will be happy being back in Sydney with family, friends and old team mates he grew up with.

Will it be successful, none of us know.  For 500K I would take the gamble.  Time will tell.
