Must win against the Rotters

Frankies mates are trying to take BankWest from us. No Eels fans are allowed into BankWest for the Rorters game - only hundreds of Roosters fans

https://www.parraeels.com.au/news/2020/06/15/crowds-at-bankwest-stadium-roosters-v-eels-round-6/

This is a declaration of war. We must own the Rorters this weekend and let them know who our ground belongs to.

Frankie, your either with us or against us. Wear your blue and gold underneath and. Get in with your Roosters colours. Then bring the blue gold out loud and proud for the game and shout loud enough to make up for the banned Eels army.

  • Well, it is technically their home game this round.
Anyway, the last thing I'd be worried about is the Roosters fans turning up in numbers. The GPS in their Landrovers probably have a warning system that re-routes them back to Bondi whenever they go further than the Anzac Bridge. We should be just fine :)

  • Roosters home game. No story here folks.

And let's face it, they'll allow hundreds of Roosters fans but only get a few dozen.

  • On one hand this was obviously an over the top tongue in cheek blog and I was well aware that it is a Rorters home game

But on the other hand, I dont care. It is our ground regardless. This is war.

  • "hundreds of Roosters fans" . . . so their entire fan base is going?

You're right Wile - this is war. I'm gonna dress up as a giant budgie and see if I can sneak in as one of those cardboard cut outs :)

    • Haha

Good idea Kram - much more believable than a Roosters fan this side of Anzac Pde

  • It looks like it's going to be a lot tougher than I originally thought..,

24-0 vs the dogs and still 8 mins to go in the 1st half....lol

    • It's all good Frank the dogs keep shooting out of the line at tedesco. You never do that you give him an opportunity he didn't earn.

The Rooters don't like it when you attack one pass wide of the ruck on one side fast, then attack the opposite side before punching in behind the play the ball.

We match up very well against them. Keary is going to have a hell of a time containing Matterson. He misses a thousand tackles as it is.
The Roosters don't like being bashed. That's why they struggle with a Canberra and got beat by the Panthers and Manly this year. You can't beat them on the back foot you rip into them.
Stop Taukeiaho and his late footwork at the line and you stop their go forward.

"From reading the EA/SB blog, our SG Ball team is stacked with aforesaid talent.
Now, the big question is do we pick the right ones and do they indeed develop into very good FGers at least (hopefully Origin regulars)."
