Brad Murray, the Parramatta player caught on CCTV placing a bet on the infamous round 24 Cowboys and Bulldogs match, will be free to play until the NRL receives a police report confirming he is guilty.
“The matter is in the hands of the police and until we’ve got more information about that we are not really in a position to act at this stage,” CEO David Gallop told Sportsnewsfirst.com.au.
“He’s clearly guilty of placing a bet but we don’t have evidence of what that bet was on, it may not have even been on football.”
