I'm not sure I understand why can't they just move the game to a bigger stadium.
I'm currently overseas if I was a supporter I be very upset if I didn't get a ticket for the game. I'm sure panthers are co fident enough to be any team any place any time . Playing pather Park is not the right move .

Panthers deserve their home turf. Im sure if we were in their position we wouldn't give it up. Even if we were at the old stadium you wouldn't give that home advantage up
This will be the last year that we have home team finals. It will go back to home regions, where you play at the best stadium in the city the higher ranked club is located.
Having to play at Shark park with a 45 spectator capacity has ensured that I think.
So In future every single Sydney club who earns the right to host a home semi final will be at a disadvantage ? Makes sense. I've heard this story before, I.E manly fans when they were forced to take semi finals to Aussie stadium. Most didn't show up.
Where did you read that ?
Haven't read it. Just my thoughts on what I think will happen.
There is money to be made and the NRL are (at least in their mind) underselling their product).
They've earned the right to play at home. I think its tough on the teams that don't have big home grounds to be forced to give up their home ground advantage during finals.
I would rather watch a game at panthers stadium (what ever its called now or bankwest) any day over one of the big grounds. True supporters and completely different feeling.
Plus deserved to play it at there home ground. Parra can turn it into a parra stadium
Play them in a local park who cares. Let's get stuck into these inbred, high fiving idiots.
