We need Moses to get the start with NSW, yes it is a dead rubber, but a dead rubber with QLD wanting to prove a point therefore a big game on a big stage. It will be the biggest game in Moses' career. The experience of being in Origin can do wonders for players, take out examples like Jarrod Mullen who was thrown in too young, Moses is old enough and developed enough for the stage, leading NSW to a 3-0 whitewash would do wonders for his confidence though the speed and the pressure will do wonders leading into a finals series full of doubt and predictability with Parramatta infamous for faltering when games matter.
This loss hurtsm, though we had no Mahoney who makes a difference and they had no Cleary, even in what is missing not quite but still none the less we showed we could grind. Moses is better to have the experience of a big game before playing say a grand final or a prelim and it will only make him better. Yes as stated before being game I or game II would have been better test being a crucial game, though a dead rubber is nothing to be shuned at and QLD will mark him as a target and will be marking Fifita who wants to prove a point in origin also.
For us going into the semi's having a 7 feeling the speed and velocity of State of Origin, can help with the speed of finals with added incentive of pressure of elimination can assist in those clutch moments. Moses in 2021 looks alot more calm and patient than Moses in 2020 and NSW 7 with that opportunity will help us as a team with our 7 having a spring in their step.

He's no chance after not closing that game out mate. It would be good for him but he'd probably bomb out in Origin too and really be f@cked.
Brandy sounded boyish about his performance tonight, that was a tough kick no matter what way you put it a sideline kick from a normal try in my opinion would have been easier.
It's an unfair comparison really - the NSW pack are carving up the QLD pack giving the halves so much space to play behind and they're always on the front foit
our forwards list the battle in the middle tonight and our halves had almost no quick ball and mostly played behind a beaten pack
give Moses a dominant pack and it's different
Absolutely.
He's just not good enough
This post is absolutely correct.
Nathan Cleary had knocks on his game (some of them still exist) .. ie can't create, has no attacking ability, cant win the games that matter... but he's been mentored through 4 seasons worth of big games now and it's showing in his game. IMO Mitch has earned a call up by us being a top 4 team 3 of the last 4 seasons and hes now one of the elite halves in the competition. He just needs to nail his moments. Thats what holds him back from being in the top tier .. and the more big games he plays in will give him more chances to get it done.
100% correct that he needs to be playing origin for his own development, If he continues the way he's going we are zero chance of ending our premiership drought while he's here. He just hasn't got the whole skill set to win us a Comp. Kicking game is sublime, But everything else is either above average or average. The NSW hit out will only help him develop his game. He proved again tonight that he just won't win us the big games.
