With this being dragged out by Moses and his imbecile uncle I would like to hear your thoughts on who you would look at signing from other clubs in the event he leaves. George Williams? Or another fringe half from Nrl or the UK?

Has to be a class halfback. The dogs are finding out spending big money on other positions wont cut it. Especially if you pay 1M for a centre to play at 5/8.
If Moses leaves, just pulling a name out of my arse , I'd sign a cheap Luke Brooks for the meantime. .

Imagine Moses after realising he's been had by his best made. Goes to the tigers after being convinced by his mate to play for the spooners, whilst Brooksy takes his spot in a top 6 team. Not taking anything away from the hard work Mitch has put into his game, but it would be interesting to know where each players career would have been at had Moses stayed and Brooks come to Parra all those years ago.
To be honest I thought Brooks was the better player at that time. Brooks is off contract at yeats end and I don't see the Tigers offering him anything remotley what he's on now , especially if they snag Moses. I'd be throwing him 600k and a chance to show the world he's not the joke off the league and was unfortunate to be stuck at a shit club with a turnstile of shit coaches.

He's definitely the best option for a fill in. 1 year contract and see how he goes. Some better options on the market in 2024.
I dont and didnt agree that Brooks was a good option at the time Wiz, but I dont disagree with what you say about picking gim up if we did lose Moses. It would be a wonderful opportunity for Brooks and put huge pressure on Moses and the coaching staff over there if it eventuated.

Yeah, I'd say 600 would be a fair price for Brooks. The extra coin could certainly be used to bolster other key positions. It really all hinges on whether Browns going to be as good as everyone claims though doesn't it.
At the time it's pretty debatable as to whom was better out of Brooks and Moses , let's not forget there were a fucking shitload on here calling for Moses's sacking for a couple of seasons.
You harp on about me being critical of Moses now , but back then I was front and centre saying he deserves to see his contract out , and also saying he was a captain in the making on his pure competitive nature alone. I saw a bloke that disliked Norman and walked off with the shits when we lost while Norman was out doing bloods and Crips handshakes with the opposition, Many wanted to keep Norman 😂.
